Enchant, the world’s largest Christmas light maze, is coming back to Nationals Park this winter, running November 20 through December 27 with a new maze storyline, ice skating and nightly festivities packed into 32 nights of holiday cheer!
The Light Maze Returns After a Two Year Hiatus
Enchant is heading back to Nationals Park this year, marking its first DC appearance since 2023 after two seasons away. The ballpark filled the gap with a smaller Winter Wonderfest experience in 2025 while organizers worked to bring the full show back.
Social House Holidays, the company behind Enchant, has described DC as a market it always wanted to return to and says reintroducing the tradition matters both for returning fans and for guests experiencing it for the first time.
This season’s run stretches from November 20 through December 27, giving families and couples a longer window to fit a visit into their holiday calendar than in past years. Full event details are posted on Enchant’s official Washington DC page.
A New Maze Story and More Ways to Play
This year’s centerpiece is an entirely new maze adventure and storyline, built around more than four million lights strung across the ballpark, one of the largest displays the company builds anywhere in the country.
Guests can lace up for the ice skating trail, wander a festive village stocked with seasonal treats and gifts, and stop at several new immersive photo installations.
Santa makes regular appearances for pictures and greetings, and the event runs rain or shine, so a visit rarely gets rained out. General admission covers the full evening, while ice skating and other add ons are booked separately through Enchant’s Washington DC ticket calendar.
Why It Works for Family Night and Date Night
Enchant leans into two very different crowds at once. Families can move at a kid’s pace through the play areas and photo stops, while couples looking for a low key date night can skate together under the lights or slow walk the maze with hot cocoa in hand.
The season also includes a run of theme nights, from an opening night celebration to a Friendsgiving gathering, giving repeat visitors a reason to come back more than once.
Groups of up to 25 can book together online, and larger office or school outings can arrange private packages through Enchant’s group and private party page. Local outlets covering the return, including PoPville, have noted premium dates are expected to fill quickly.
Nationals Park sits at 1500 South Capitol Street SE in Washington, and the closest Metro stop is Navy Yard-Ballpark, a block from the main gate. Enchant runs November 20 through December 27, with nightly arrival windows that vary by date and appear at checkout. Popular weekends and theme nights tend to sell out first, so booking early is worth it.
