Ocean City’s Oyster & Scales and Spain Wine Bar are cooking an eight-course Harvest Farm Dinner at Kylan Farms in Delmar, Maryland on Monday, October 5.
Two Ocean City Chefs Cook Together at Kylan Farms
Executive Chef Luis Aleman of Oyster & Scales will share the kitchen with Spain Wine Bar Executive Chef Oscar Benitez. The two restaurants are siblings. Oyster & Scales comes from the owners of Spain Wine Bar and opened in fall 2025.
Its bayfront dining room takes cues from the classic oyster houses of Nantucket and Cape Cod. Meanwhile, Spain Wine Bar is known for rooftop dinners overlooking the Ocean City bay and inlet.
One night on a working farm lets diners taste both teams side by side.
The Harvest Dinner Menu Runs From Squash Bisque to Paella
The dinner begins at 5 PM with a welcome Cuvée toast. From there, courses move through maple-roasted butternut squash bisque, duck confit croquettes, lobster risotto and a harvest paella.
Each course is paired with wines from Italian producer Enzo Schiano. Cocktails and live music round out the evening.
Eight courses outdoors in October is a feast worth the drive!
Turn the Farm Dinner Into an Eastern Shore Weekend
Delmar sits on the Maryland and Delaware line, roughly three hours from DC by car. For that reason, the dinner works best as part of a long weekend. Arrive Sunday for brunch at Oyster & Scales, served from 10 AM to 3 PM. Then head inland to Delmar on Monday.
The farm setting is the draw. Dinner unfolds slowly, course by course, instead of on a busy restaurant clock.
