Barcelona Wine Bar is located in the heart of 14th Street, great for bar hopping, and just a few blocks from U Street. This means you can easily walk to another location on this list or any other popular bars and restaurants right outside their door. They offer some of the best wines in town. The Midlands Beer Garden & Hook Hall on Georgia Avenue
If you are up near the Georgia Ave Metro Station, there are a few unpretentious places to gather. Midlands DC and directly across the street is Hook Hall. These are casual watering holes with craft beer, light fare & picnic tables, plus an asphalt ‘garden’ – sometimes there might be a theme. DC Has Great Heated Outdoor Patio Areas
DC is a great place to go out in the winter. There are tons of great outdoor places to eat and drink outside of this list, including Bar Taco near Mount Vernon, Peacock Cafe in Georgetown, and Commissary near Dupont Circle. DC is where you should go when you want to go outside in the winter. There are many options that have huge patios with heat lamps that’s perfect for enjoying signature cocktails on a cold day. Once you get cozy, you will feel re-energized to hit up other fun DC spots, so it’s easy to make an afternoon or late evening out of your visit!
