The Midlands Beer Garden & Hook Hall on Georgia Avenue
If you are up near the Georgia Ave Metro Station, there are a few unpretentious places to gather. Midlands DC and directly across the street is Hook Hall. These are casual watering holes with craft beer, light fare & picnic tables, plus an asphalt ‘garden’ – sometimes there might be a theme. DC is where you should go when you want to go outside in the winter. There are many options that have huge patios with heat lamps that’s perfect for enjoying signature cocktails on a cold day. Once you get cozy, you will feel re-energized to hit up other fun DC spots, so it’s easy to make an afternoon or late evening out of your visit!
