This playful, politically-tinged spot is a great option whether you’re dashing between meetings, gathering friends for happy hour, or simply looking for a comfortable place to unwind.
Spotted Zebra’s menu has been thoughtfully crafted under the direction of Executive Chef William Taylor, who brings over twenty years of culinary expertise to the table. Chef William has previously led the culinary programs at esteemed properties such as the Washington Marriott at Metro Center and the Westin Georgetown in Washington, DC. Now, as the Executive Chef at the Washington Marriott Metro Center, Chef William has spearheaded the menu development for Spotted Zebra, blending familiar yet elevated dishes with nods to classic American fare.
Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 PM, offering a variety of local beers at $8 and wines at $10, along with a menu that’s sure to please. I’d recommend trying their flatbreads, particularly the Crab Cake Flatbread, which is a delightful nod to our proximity to the shore. The Brisket Sandwich is another standout, perfect for a quick yet satisfying bite.
Their Burrata Salad is an excellent, shareable starter, paired perfectly with the charred, oven-roasted bread that’s too good to miss. For those who prefer something heartier, the Eastern Shore Flatbread, topped with lump crab, shrimp, mozzarella, corn cream, green onion, and Old Bay seasoning, is a must-try.
The service was attentive, and our server ensured we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
