Ten Five Hospitality has opened two restaurants under one Georgetown roof, pairing The Oak Room, a Gilded Age style American grill led by chef Timothy Hollingsworth, with Bernadette’s, a candlelit supper club with live music one flight up.

A Prime Rib Grill Downstairs From A Supper Club

The Oak Room and Bernadette’s opened June 26, 2026, at 1218 Wisconsin Avenue NW, with Hollingsworth, the former youngest chef de cuisine at the French Laundry, running the kitchen for both floors. Washingtonian described the design as meant to feel worn and lived in, like a private club that has been around for a century. Managing partner Dan Daley leads the project for Ten Five Hospitality, the group behind the two concept build out.

Prime Rib And A 400 Bottle Cellar Anchor The Oak Room

The Oak Room serves koji and pepper rubbed prime rib, Dover sole with lemon and brown butter, and a chilled seafood plateau with poached shrimp, scallops, and lump crab, alongside classic steakhouse sides like creamed spinach and mashed potatoes.

The wine cellar holds about 400 bottles starting near $85, and the bar pours five old fashioned variations, according to Resy’s Right This Way. Dinner runs Tuesday through Sunday with weekend brunch, and The Garden, a seasonal back patio, serves rosé and spritzes into October.

Bernadette’s Brings Live Music And Champagne Upstairs

Upstairs, Bernadette’s leans into a candlelit, post-war European mood built around a restored 1920s Steinway, with pianists, vocalists, and jazz trios performing Thursday through Saturday.

The menu includes steak au poivre, a wagyu cheeseburger, and a prime wagyu French dip found only at this location, paired with a list of 40 grower Champagnes. The pairing of a classic grill downstairs and a dressed up supper club upstairs makes the building a strong option for a date night that can move from dinner to a nightcap without changing addresses.

The Oak Room and Bernadette’s share an address at 1218 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20007, in Georgetown. The Oak Room serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday, while Bernadette’s serves dinner Wednesday through Sunday with live music Thursday through Saturday.

Reservations open 14 days ahead at 9 a.m. through Resy, and walk-ins are welcome at both. Prime rib at The Oak Room runs from $68 to $94, with the Dover sole at $105.
