From tasting menus and themed cocktails to passport-style shopping weekends and free museum events, here are the best cherry blossom events, restaurant specials, and spring experiences across DC, Virginia, and Maryland.

The Darcy Hotel and Gerrard Street Kitchen Bring Sakura to Your Plate

Gerrard Street Kitchen at The Darcy Hotel is offering the Sakura Serenade Cherry Blossom Tasting Menu, a three-course experience featuring starters, mains like miso-glazed halibut and robata-grilled surf and turf, and desserts including a Floating Island and Hazelnut Crunch Bar ($55 per person). Cheesetique in Del Ray Celebrates Blossom Season With Japanese-Inspired Cheese

Cheesetique in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood rolls out a limited-time cherry blossom menu from March 20 through April 12. The Umami Cheeseboard features fresh chèvre, triple crème brie, blue cheese, preserved mussels, nori, and pickled ginger. The Bloomy Bliss Grilled Cheese layers melty brie with sour cherry compote and toasted walnuts on sourdough.

Cocktail lovers can order the Maraschino Circus—a Luxardo Sour topped with a pink cotton candy cloud—and the Cherry Cloud and Matcha Delight Cheesecakes close the meal. Del Ray’s tree-lined streets offer gorgeous cherry blossoms without the Tidal Basin crowds!
