Jônt Raises the Stakes on March 8
On March 8, Jônt raises the stakes again with an exclusive collaboration between 8x James Beard nominee Chef Jesse Ito of Royal Sushi & Izakaya and Chef Ryan Ratino, priced at $495 per person with reservations on OpenTable. That same weekend, MITA‘s Culture Sunday dinner pairs Chefs Amy Brandwein and Tatiana Mora for an International Women’s Day celebration spotlighting women in hospitality.
Cherry Blossom Season Brings New Menus and Pop-Ups Across DC
Ciel Social Club‘s immersive cherry blossom pop-up launches March 12 at both Capitol Hill and K Street locations, complete with Japanese-twist cocktails, faux blossoms, and panoramic city views. Skydome showcasing its cherry blossom menu in March with great innovative bites, cocktails, and a live cooking station. The Watergate Hotel offers a cherry blossom charter package — a 90-minute private boat ride on the Potomac for up to six guests, bookable through September 13. And on March 28, Bloomaroo lights up The Wharf with live music, face-painting, and pink-hued fireworks, capped by lychee martinis and Beijing-style bites at Philippe Chow!

The Falls pairs Finger Lakes wines with a five-course dinner on March 10 for $110 per person. Neutral Ground in McLean hosts Patricia Green Cellars co-founder Jim Anderson on March 12 for a five-course Oregon wine dinner at $155 all-inclusive. Pascual kicks off its “Mezcal with Friends” series on March 22 with agave legend David Suro, followed by Mexico in a Bottle at the Mexican Cultural Institute on March 23. Pi Day on March 14 means a chicken pot pie eating contest at 1310 Kitchen & Bar in Georgetown — the winner walks away with a $100 gift card!

The Royal Shakespeare Company opens Hamnet at Harman Hall on March 17, running through April 12. Eddie Izzard brings her solo Hamlet — all 23 characters — to the Klein Theatre starting March 27.
