Maryland’s most decorated chefs are uniting for a single evening of extraordinary food at National Harbor.
On Wednesday, May 20, Voltaggio Brothers Steak House at MGM National Harbor welcomes Chef Tobias Dorzon for the latest installment of its “House Guest” dinner series. The former NFL fullback turned Huncho House restaurateur joins fellow Tournament of Champions stars Bryan and Michael Voltaggio for a four-course collaboration menu rooted in shared Maryland heritage. Reservations are now open through OpenTable.
A Maryland-Born Menu Built for the Moment
The collaboration menu draws directly from the region’s flavors and the chefs’ competition pedigrees. Diners begin with an asparagus summer roll featuring daikon radish, chicken liver butter, and soy balsamic gel. Next arrives blue crab and prawn toast layered with miso aioli, pickled fresno chilies, shiso, and Petrossian caviar. The third course showcases sea bass with squid ink potato dumpling and coconut bone broth.
For the main, a rib eye cap is finished with jollof bordelaise and a red pepper pancake — a striking nod to Dorzon’s West African influences. Matcha strawberry shortcake with yuzu curd closes the evening!
Chefs, Conversation, and a Meet-and-Greet
The experience runs $150 per person, with an optional wine pairing available for an additional $45. Throughout the night, guests will mingle with the chefs, hear the inspiration behind each plate, and join an exclusive post-dinner meet-and-greet. Gratuity and tax are additional, and seats are limited!
“We are thrilled to partner with Chef Dorzon on this one-of-a-kind evening,” said Bryan Voltaggio, citing the trio’s shared Maryland upbringing as the menu’s connective thread. Dorzon called the Voltaggios “true champions lifting up the people and culture of Maryland.”
