An afternoon of unlimited oysters, craft pours, and live music returns to Montgomery County this spring.

Eight Restaurants Gather at the Town Square

The 2nd Annual Oysterfest at Chevy Chase Lake arrives Saturday, May 30, transforming the Town Square at Chevy Chase Lake into the DMV’s premier spring seafood gathering. Eight standout restaurants will serve oysters side by side, each preparing them their own way. The lineup pairs neighborhood favorites like Clyde’s of Chevy Chase and Frankly Pizza with seafood specialists Oysters & Scales and Ro Sushi. Rounding out the roster are Elena James, Nina May, Opal, and Junction Bistro, Bar & Bakery.

Two Sessions, Unlimited Oysters, and Live Music

Guests choose one two-hour session: 1 PM to 3 PM or 4 PM to 6 PM. The Mardi Gras Kings open the afternoon with a brassy New Orleans set, and The “Original” Moonlighters carry the second session through the early evening. Tickets are $99 for all-you-can-eat oysters and fixin’s, with a $50 bottomless alcohol add-on available for guests 21 and over. Craft beer, cocktails, and a curated wine selection come courtesy of onsite lounge Uncorked!

Every Ticket Supports the Chesapeake

Proceeds benefit the Oyster Recovery Partnership and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, two nonprofits dedicated to restoring oyster reefs and improving Bay water quality. Since 1994, ORP has planted more than 14 billion oysters and recycled over 366,000 bushels of shell. Every ticket helps fund that ongoing restoration work!
