Cordelia Fishbar, the charcoal-fired seafood house from Clyde’s Restaurant Group in DC’s Union Market District, marks its second anniversary on Thursday, November 19, 2026, with an all-day oyster happy hour offering 50% off signature raw oysters.

A Seafood House With Old Ebbitt Roots

Cordelia opened in November 2024 as a new direction for the team behind Old Ebbitt Grill. Expect a lively oyster bar, conservas, dry-aged fish, caviar service and seafood towers, plus a whole Spanish turbot carved tableside for three or four. Karen Herold of Studio K designed the room with weathered oak floors and a hand-painted blue-and-white ceramic bar.

Fire, Dry-Aging and Local Catch Define the Menu

Executive Chef Josh Hunt cooks over open flame and in a charcoal oven, dry-aging salmon and turbot for deeper flavor and sourcing local rockfish, striped bass, crab and oysters when he can. Crudo and cured fish share the menu with a few charcoal-cooked meats for anyone skipping seafood.

A Happy Hour Worth Planning Around All Year

The anniversary deal lasts one day, but the regular happy hour rewards repeat visits. It runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to close Tuesday through Sunday, with half-price oysters and shellfish towers plus $9 martinis. Tuesdays bring half-price raw oysters from 4 p.m. to close, and Thursday nights add live music. Hungry for more? Browse our guide to DC oyster deals.
