Jônt will host Lysée founder Eunji Lee and pastry director Yoonjung Oh for a special afternoon tasting on Oct 4, 2026, pairing five dessert courses with savory dishes at its 17-seat chef’s counter.
Two Pastry Chefs Reunite at the Counter
Did you know? Lee and Oh previously worked together at New York’s Jungsik! Their reunion brings the perspective of Lysée, Lee’s New York pastry boutique and dessert gallery, to Jônt’s Washington dining room. The Jônt’s event page says this is a collaboration shaped by French technique, Korean heritage, and New York inspiration.
Dessert Leads a Menu With Savory Courses
The announced experience includes five dessert courses, three savory snacks, and a savory course from chef Ryan Ratino. Pastry takes the central role, making this a focused outing for dessert enthusiasts who want more than a single sweet course after dinner. And! Go for it! Add the optional nonalcoholic pairings at $60 and wine pairings at $125!
With only 17 seats at the counter, this is an intimate tasting to plan around rather than a casual stop for dessert.
The prepaid OpenTable experience lists bookings for one to four guests. For more thoughtful dining plans and informed coverage of Washington DC travel, hotels, restaurants, and events, follow The Washington Lobbyist.
