Bloomroom is not your typical seasonal activation. This 90-minute immersive journey surrounds guests with a vibrant 360-degree animated art show projected across the dome’s curved walls and ceiling. The work of celebrated DC artist Chris Pyrate, in collaboration with digital creator Laura Alice Bracken, the installation invites viewers to trace the story of spring across the globe — from DC’s cherry blossoms to the flower fields of the Netherlands, tropical rainforests in Costa Rica, and all the way to the blossoms’ cultural roots in Asia.
