Hey DC area friends, beer lovers, and fellow charity supporters! Looking for a fantastic reason to visit some great local breweries this April? Get ready for “Brewing for Wishes”!

April is World Wish Month, and three awesome Maryland breweries – all an easy trip from DC – are teaming up with Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic for a special fundraiser.

Who: Waredaca Brewing Company (Laytonsville area), Saints Row Brewing (Gaithersburg), and Lone Oak Farm Brewing Co. (Olney/Mt. Airy area).
What: Each brewery created a unique “Brewing for Wishes” craft beer available all April long.
Why: For every one of these special beers sold (priced $8-$10), $2 goes directly to Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic to grant life-changing wishes for local children with critical illnesses!

When: Saturday, April 5th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: ALL THREE participating breweries!
What’s Happening:
- Taste the exclusive “Brewing for Wishes” beers!
- Meet reps from Make-A-Wish and learn about their mission.
- Make a wish bracelet, buy cool swag, maybe snag a free light-up wand!
- Enjoy food trucks and live entertainment at each spot.
- Brewery Challenge: Grab a punch card! Try the special beer at all three breweries on the 5th, leave your card at the last stop, and you could win a gift basket full of brewery goodies!
