Ferrari Takes Center Stage on King Street
The Old Town Festival of Speed & Style, presented by Burke & Herbert Bank, returns to Alexandria, Virginia on Sunday, May 17, 2026, for its seventh annual run. This year’s featured tribute is a sweeping celebration of Ferrari — with cars spanning from the 1950s to the present day — anchoring a lineup of rare Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Cobras, and some of the world’s most extraordinary high-performance machines. The 400–600 blocks of King Street and the adjoining 100 blocks of North and South St. Asaph and Pitt Streets transform into one of the East Coast’s most stylish outdoor showcases, completely free and open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Style, Music, and Awards All in One Afternoon
The festival is equal parts automotive theater and fashion event. At noon, the Style Celebration at Center Stage pairs couture-dressed fashionistas with pre-selected exotic cars for a high-glamour visual moment that stops the crowd. Chief Judge Ralf Berthiez then leads the awards presentation across 11 categories, including Timeless Elegance, Contemporary Exotic, and Excellence in Ferrari Sports. View previous winners here. Live music from local artists fills the blocks throughout the day, and with upwards of 40,000 expected attendees, Old Town’s local businesses are ready to welcome the crowd!
A Festival That Gives Back to Alexandria
Since its founding, the festival has raised more than $175,000 for Alexandria-area charities. This year’s beneficiaries are ALIVE!, fighting poverty and hunger; Community Lodgings, supporting families in transitional housing; and the Breast Center Collective of Alexandria, dedicated to improving breast cancer survivability. Donations are welcomed here. The night before, on Saturday, May 16, the High-Octane Ball kicks off at Land Rover Alexandria from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. — a Black, White, and Red-themed gala with food, beverages, live music, and a silent auction.
