Golf fans, mark your calendars! The road to the 2025 U.S. Open tees off right here in the DC region at the prestigious Woodmont Country Club in Rockville. As one of only 10 courses in the country selected to host the U.S. Open Final Qualifier, this is your chance to witness legends of the game — Bubba Watson, Lee Westwood, Stewart Cink, and over 30 PGA and LIV Tour players — compete for a spot in one of golf’s most iconic championships.
A Legendary Day at One of the Nation’s Top Golf Clubs
This is Woodmont’s 39th time hosting a U.S. Open Qualifier, and 2025 brings the strongest field in two decades. Set on two championship 18-hole courses, this private, member-owned club is a hidden gem just a short drive from Washington, DC. Spectators can experience the thrill of 36 holes played in a single day — often referred to as the “longest day in golf.”
Play begins Monday, June 2, at 7:00 AM and continues through the afternoon. Admission is free and open to the public, with food and drinks available for purchase. Whether you’re a diehard fan or new to the sport, this is a rare chance to see top-tier golf action up close in a picture-perfect setting.
