Since its founding in 1983, the local chapter has granted over 12,000 wishes, yet more than 500 local children are diagnosed annually with conditions that qualify them for a wish. The funds raised during the Wish Ball 2026 are essential to ensuring that no eligible child is turned away, helping to close the gap between the wishes granted and the children still waiting for their transformational moment.
