Get ready, Rockville! Little Miner Taco is throwing a Grand Opening Fiesta to satisfy your taco cravings and help local children. On Wednesday, August 28, from 1 PM to 4 PM, the new Little Miner Taco location in Rockville Town Square is the place to be.
This event is more than just a party. It’s a chance to enjoy delicious food while giving back to the community. Little Miner Taco will donate 100% of the proceeds from every kid’s meal to the MCPS Educational Foundation’s Dine With Dignity program. This program helps families in Montgomery County pay off student meal debt while they wait for approval for free or reduced-price meals.
At the fiesta, the first 50 guests will receive a free birria spice kit and a $5 gift card. There will also be a DJ spinning tunes, free birria tacos, and complimentary aguafrescas. And if you visit during tax-free week from August 11 to 17, you’ll get a free aguafresca with every kid’s meal purchase.
The Rockville location is special. It’s the first to feature Little Miner Taco’s new colorful branding, a full salsa bar, and a full-service bar (coming in 2025). The vibrant space seats 30 people inside and has an eye-catching design, including a local artist Jamie Gerhold mural.
Little Miner Taco has three other thriving locations in Brentwood, MD, NoMa DC, and popping up all over the DMV and Baltimore regions. But the Rockville Town Square spot is a must-visit, especially if you love tacos and want to support a good cause.
