Arlington’s much-anticipated Restaurant Week is right around the corner, running from October 14 through the 21st. With an exciting lineup of participating restaurants, there’s no better time to explore the area’s culinary diversity. I’m thrilled to share a few of my personal favorites that you won’t want to miss.
Start your foodie journey at Ambar Clarendon, a vibrant spot offering Bayou-inspired flavors that transport you to the Gulf Coast. Banditos Tacos & Tequila at National Landing is a great quick stop for flavor and fun! For those with a sweet tooth, Bayou Baker, Dog Tag Bakery, and Good Company Donuts have delightful treats that promise to satisfy.
If dumplings are your thing, head to Dumpling District for mouth-watering options, or savor Asian cuisine at JINYA Ramen Bar and Sushi Zen. For a more casual dining experience, Green Pig Bistro and Pallet 22 are must-visits, showcasing innovative menus with local flair.
If pizza and comfort food are more your speed, be sure to swing by Pupatella for authentic Neapolitan pizza, and Fireworks Pizza for their wood-fired pies. Over in Shirlington, Thai in Shirlington offers bold, traditional Thai flavors that can’t be missed.
For a rooftop dining experience, Upside on Moore offers scenic views paired with creative cocktails, while Skydome Restaurant presents a stunning, rotating panorama of the city. Finally, the family-owned Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe in North Arlington offer charming, old-world European treats.
Arlington Restaurant Week Highlight: Skydome’s Exclusive Three-Course Dinner
One of the standout participants of this year’s Arlington Restaurant Week is Skydome Restaurant, known for its breathtaking, revolving views of the DC skyline. From October 15th (closed on Mondays), Skydome will be offering a specially curated three-course dinner menu ($65 per person), crafted by Chef Chris Murray.
For starters, indulge in Petits Lobster Rolls, featuring butter-poached lobster topped with a fragrant tarragon aioli, nestled inside Lyon’s Bakery rolls. For the main course, savor the perfectly Grilled Ribeye, served with whipped potatoes, sautéed garlic spinach, and a rich veal demi reduction.
And for dessert lovers, the options are equally decadent. Choose between a comforting Warm Pear & Apple Crumble or the elegant Four Layer Hazelnut Dacquoise, sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Make sure to view the full menu on Skydome’s website and take in the extraordinary views as you dine in style this Arlington Restaurant Week!
Of course, this is just a small sampling of the incredible restaurants participating in Arlington Restaurant Week.
