Twosome Place is bringing its first US café to Old Town Alexandria, with coffee and cake as equal reasons to visit. A grand-opening celebration is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at 404 King Street, adding a Korean café stop to a familiar DC-area day trip.

Coffee and Cake Share the Spotlight

The US menu includes Strawberry Chocolate Cream Cake, layered with chocolate cake, chocolate cream, crunchy chocolate pearls, and strawberries.

Ice Box Cake combines chocolate cookies, whipped cream, and mascarpone. Alongside espresso drinks, the café lists a Dalgona Cream Top and Black Sesame Latte.

For a first visit, choose one drink and one cake to share, then use that pairing to decide what deserves a return trip.

Savory Dishes Make It More Than a Dessert Stop

The menu also lists bulgogi-and-egg K-Toast, a spicy chicken panini, and a Bulgogi Bibimbowl made with couscous. That gives visitors an option for something savory before cake, especially during a longer afternoon in Old Town.

Whole cakes and individual portions appear on the menu, so check availability and ordering requirements before relying on the café for a celebration. A listed item does not guarantee it will be in the case on every visit.

The Opening Celebration Has Its Own Schedule

According to ALXnow’s grand-opening report, the October 17 celebration runs from 9 am to 1 pm, with coffee and cake samples from 11 am to 1 pm. The first 100 guests in line are due to receive tote bags!
