A Ten-Day Veuve Clicquot Pop-Up Lands in the West End

From Friday, August 14, through Sunday, August 23, Fairmont Washington, DC, Georgetown transforms its lush Courtyard, Lobby Bar and Loggia into a Veuve Clicquot playground from 11am to 11pm daily. The Share and Pair pop-up toasts the inaugural Freedom 250 Grand Prix, the first IndyCar race in the nation’s capital. Signature yellow décor takes over. Bistro seating fills the garden. No reservations are required, so race fans and Champagne lovers can simply walk in and raise a glass!

Chef Jaime Montes de Oca Pairs Chesapeake Flavors With Yellow Label

Executive Pastry Chef Jaime Montes de Oca and his kitchen team built three pairings, each served with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. Three Chesapeake oysters with cauliflower mousse and caviar arrive at $35. A hand-held lobster temaki cone layers Maine lobster, cucumber, avocado, sushi rice and nori for $32. Meanwhile, the Roseda Farm beef burger stacks garlic chili mayonnaise, crispy pancetta and aged cheddar beside French fries for $45. For $5 more, guests may swap in Veuve Clicquot RICH or RICH Rosé served over ice with fresh strawberries. Tax and gratuity are not included at the Courtyard Bar, Washington’s premier outdoor cocktail destination.
