Good coffee and good food should go together — and right now, they do for a dollar.
Life Alive Organic Café Is Running a Deal Worth Knowing About
Life Alive Organic Café is celebrating its craft espresso program with a promotion that’s hard to ignore: $1 espresso beverages with any entrée purchase through April 30 at its West End and Ballston locations. The drinks are built on Intelligentsia’s Organic Black Cat Espresso — one of the most respected roasters in the country — and crafted with Minor Figures oat milk, house-made date caramel, Vermont maple syrup, and organic tahini. Signature offerings include the Caramel Sea Salt Latté, the Vanilla Tahini Latté, and a Chocolate Hazelnut Affogato. Personally, we’re ordering the Americano and calling it a win.
The Food Holds Its Own
The menu reads like a farmers market with a chef behind it. Warm grain bowls, noodles, handhelds, and salads are all scratch-prepared to order — no assembly line, no shortcuts. Standouts include the Miso Eggplant & Crispy Rice, the Chili Garlic Mushroom Bibimbap, and the Golden Glow bowl with slow-roasted sweet potato and golden tahini. Nearly everything is organic, gluten-friendly options are everywhere, and the housemade sauces are made fresh in-café daily!
