Washington DC’s newest hotspot is here, but not until October 17th—just in time for the city’s growing love of escapism.
Proper Bar DC, opening soon at 300 K Street NW, offers a thoughtfully designed space where modern American bistro cuisine and creative cocktails take center stage. Will Strozier, a co-founder and co-owner, designed the 5,500 sq. ft. venue with influences from New York, Miami, and DC. The space features 225 seats indoors and out, including a private event area for 40 guests.
The menu highlights seasonal ingredients with standout dishes like the 40-day dry-aged burger, Crab Tagliatelle, and Snake River Farms 32 oz Dry Aged Tomahawk. Pair your meal with signature cocktails, including the R&R (Rum and Rye Manhattan) or Hacienda Without a Key, or visit during happy hour (4:30–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday) for $9 forced carbonated cocktails, $10 house wines, and $7 draft beers.
Above the restaurant, Crosby Luxury Apartments provides 302 modern residences for urban professionals, offering smart-home features and prime access to DC’s dining, culture, and transit.
Reservations open October 17th—stay tuned for more details! Proper Bar | Coming Soon to Washington DC
