Pura Vida Miami has landed its first Washington DC location, bringing the brand’s wellness cafe concept to 1443 P Street NW in Logan Circle!
The Cafe Marks Pura Vida’s Newest Milestone Nationwide
The Miami-born wellness cafe brand opened its Logan Circle doors on August 20, 2026, marking its first standalone location in DC proper. Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Jennifer and Omer Horev, Pura Vida Miami has grown from a single South Beach cafe into a brand with more than 50 locations across Florida, New York, California, Maryland, New Jersey, and now Virginia and DC, with additional openings already announced in Hoboken, Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood, and Manhattan’s Upper West Side. In an interview with Voyage MIA Magazine, Omer and Jennifer Horev described the mission behind the brand, saying, “We are famous for our all-day breakfast and warm, welcoming vibes. We are extremely proud of the company culture we have created as well as the community of like-minded individuals that value quality and health.”
The Horevs have said that founding principle traces back to Pura Vida’s earliest days, when they “spent every minute at the South Beach store listening to our customers and creating a space they loved to visit daily.”
The Menu Spans All Day Breakfast to High Protein Dinner Plates
Guests at the Logan Circle cafe can order from a full menu of avocado toasts, chef driven salads, wraps, bowls, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, matcha, and seasonal specialties, with high protein dinner plates rounding out the evening hours.
The 1443 P Street space, situated between 14th and 15th Streets, features white oak, rattan, and Taj Mahal quartz finishes alongside family style seating designed to function as a neighborhood third space. Regulars have already taken to calling it the place that brings the vibes, and longtime fans of the brand will recognize its signature Paradise candle scent, a woodsy blend of sandalwood, vetiver, cedarwood, amber, iris, and leather that fills every Pura Vida location and is now sold to take home.
Pura Vida Miami’s Logan Circle cafe is located at 1443 P Street NW, Washington, DC 20005, and is open Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 7 AM to 8 PM.
