The Old Town Festival of Speed & Style has presented $60,000 to three Alexandria nonprofits, turning this year’s celebration of cars, fashion, and music into support for local organizations.
Three Local Organizations Share the Work
Festival organizers say representatives of ALIVE!, Community Lodgings, and Breast Cancer Collective joined the check presentation on Sep 9, 2026 at 520 King Street in Old Town Alexandria. The $60,000 is the combined contribution to the three beneficiaries.
Beyond the Festival Day
The proceeds came from the seventh annual festival, held on May 17, 2026, along with the High-Octane Ball, sponsorships, vehicle registrations, and other charitable contributions. Burke & Herbert Bank presented the festival.
The free festival drew tens of thousands of visitors and that cumulative charitable fundraising has exceeded $235,000 since it began. For DC-area readers who attended the cars-and-fashion celebration on King Street, the donation offers a concrete follow-up on how the event supports Alexandria organizations!
The Next Festival Date Is Already on the Calendar!
