The 230-room citizenM Washington, DC Georgetown opened at 3401 K Street NW in June 2026, becoming the brand’s third property in the nation’s capital after its NoMa and Capitol Hill locations.
Marriott International and Another Star, the company that owns and operates all 37 citizenM hotels worldwide, designed the property with longtime architecture partner Concrete Amsterdam.
Marriott International and Another Star confirmed the opening in a joint announcement stating the debut marks citizenM’s first hotel under the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, giving guests the ability to earn and redeem Bonvoy points at any citizenM stay going forward.
Georgetown now counts three major hotel openings in recent years, a sign of the neighborhood’s growing pull for business and leisure travelers alike.
Design And Amenities Set The Tone Inside
Inside, guests find a 24/7 canteenM serving snacks and drinks, a living room built for work and lounging, and a full gym, alongside a newly commissioned mural from DC based artist J.D. Deardourff.
