Spring in DC tastes like rye whiskey, toasted rhubarb, and dim sum at noon.
The Cocktails Are Personal This Season
Bar Chinois, the Michelin-recognized French-Chinese fusion restaurant with locations in DC and Arlington, handed creative control to their bartenders this spring — each one spending weeks crafting a signature cocktail that reflects their own personality. The result is a showcase lineup that feels alive. Standouts include the Bijou de Gansu with rye whiskey, toasted rhubarb, and strawberry-cinnamon honey; the smoky Nimbus Cloud with Mal Bien Limon Mezcal, pistachio, and pineapple gomme; and the bold City Newsstand with Benchmark No.8 Bourbon and BC bitters. The DC-exclusive Fire Horse — Bacardi Pcho, Chinola Mango, passionfruit, coconut milk, and mango yogurt clarification — rounds out the Lunar New Year lineup beautifully.
Bottomless Brunch Is Coming to National Landing
On April 11, the Arlington location launches $39 unlimited dim sum, featuring Red Chili Wontons, Gyoza de Boeuf with French onion beef and gruyere, and Breakfast Fried Rice. The brunch-exclusive Peach Please — lychee, St. Germain, peach, and Crémant D’Alsace — is available at both locations during service. Add bottomless mimosas for $25, or go all in for $62!
