NewsBash, the event founded by a collective of the Washington, DC area’s top female news anchors across every network, announces the 11th annual NewsBash.
The event will take place on Tuesday, February 18, from 7:00-9:00 pm at Pearl Street Warehouse at The Wharf DC. Supporters, survivors, politicos and friends will come together, many dressed in head-to-toe pink, for an evening to raise awareness for breast cancer and to raise funds for this year’s beneficiary, Step Sisters.
The money raised from NewsBash will be put towards their Crisis Fund, which supports patients’ rent or mortgage, utility costs, groceries, and more. Step Sisters’ goal is to keep patients from making agonizing decisions between paying for medicine or paying for daily necessities.
The NewsBash DC host committee includes well-known newswomen from the Washington metropolitan area’s top media affiliates.
