Who’s Ready for a New Year… Me! Me! Me!

What a year.

Washington, DC – I’ll keep this nice and sweet. I want a New Year, and you do too. It’s been a tough one, right?

[Hey! Have you seen my post on custom-made MTM clothing? Take a look, and if you place an order, they will add a free custom shirt. Just tell them The Washington Lobbyist sent you.]

But! There has been so many cool new spots that have opened up in and around town. Think Mason and Rook Hotel, MGM Grand at National Harbor, Haikan Ramen Shop and Takoda in the North Shaw Neighborhood, new distilleries like Cotton and Reed, new shopping in Georgetown like Tuckernuck, and Bangkok Joe‘s even came back.

I got to review a lot of cool places and I’ll post those as soon as I get all caught up. This site will grow and expand, and yes, I’ll even think about having intern writers who love the travel and hospitality industry as much as I do.

To a productive 2017!
