Urbana is celebrating truffle season, which includes a special “Truffle Tour in Alba” edition of Cicchetti and white truffle specials and add-ons all month long.
Cicchetti at Urbana Presents “Truffle Tour in Alba”
Urbana will host a special edition of Executive Chef Ethan McKee’s one-of-a-kind tasting menu Cicchetti at Urbana highlighting the best of truffle season. “Truffle Tour in Alba” will transport diners to Italy’s truffle region with eight courses featuring white and black varieties prepared at the restaurant’s hearth oven. Fall-inspired fare will include sweet & sour venison leg with black truffle, cranberry, and mostarda; cavatelli with white truffle & chanterelle mushrooms; and sea scallops with black truffle.
“Truffle Tour in Alba” is available on Saturday, November 10; Saturday, November 17; and Saturday, December 1 at 7:00pm., with a 10-person guest maximum. The tasting menu is $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Wine pairings are available by request for an additional cost. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.com
Add White Truffle to Any Dish – Through November
For the month of November, truffle lovers are invited to Urbana to savor white truffle season. Chef Ethan McKee and his team of talented chefs will be on hand to shave fresh, white truffle tableside on any dish on the menu for a $10 upcharge. Chef Ethan’s top picks for truffle season include white shavings added to Urbana’s speck, cipollini, and mushroom pizza; porcini mushroom & sage butter gemelli; and spaghetti carbonara with duck egg. For a decadent helping, guests may opt for the tagliatelle simply dressed with butter, parmesan, and a generous dusting of white truffle for $30.
