Washington, DC (April 10, 2014) – This Saturday is the Backpack Bash, a unique and colorful gala, benefiting the Backpack Project, a group to help provide new backpacks, school supplies, school uniforms, mentoring programs, and journaling workshops to children in under-resourced communities of Washington, DC.
[Hey! I want to let you know about a tasting event at NatGeo on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Tickets are 20% off with my promo code BZK20.]
This year’s event is hosted at the Wonder Bread Factory, an exciting new venue that is now well sought after, after hosting many events from DC Preservation League to Capital Pride and the Brightest Young Things.
Their theme is based on Dr. Seuss‘s books and illustrations that will help you reconnect with your inner child. The event space is looking spectacular (I saw a quick preview). Also be ready for dinner, dancing and an open bar.
The host committee has secured DC’s own amazing, DJ Chord! He’ll be spinning great music the entire night. Guaranteed to keep a smile on your face and you enjoying the night!
Tickets are only $60, so grab one today, and I’ll see you Saturday.
