Unicorn Specials at Frenchy’s Naturel
The long-established LGBTQ-owned restaurant group hosts Unicorn Pride at the group’s newest restaurant, Frenchy’s Naturel throughout the weekend. Attendees are encouraged to wear tutus and other unicorn related regalia. Guests can expect rainbow waffles and cake pops and other bright treats as well as a signature cocktail, L’amour C’est L’amour, a stunning mixture of Tito’s Vodka, Joseph Cartron Pamplemousse Liqueur, Aperol, lime juice and topped with sparkling wine and butterfly pea flower and lemongrass infused gin. On Saturday, June 8, Frenchy’s hosts a bottomless brunch with $18 bottomless mimosas from 9am-3pm.

sweetgreen for Convent House
On June 2, the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, sweetgreen will be donating $1 from each bowl purchased to Covenant House.
Further, throughout the month of June, sweetgreen will sell a limited number of PRIDE t-shirts (shop here) with 100% of the proceeds from sales being donated to Covenant House.

305 Fitness Cardio Dance Wednesday, June 5 at 7:30 pm
Throughout June, 305 will donate to the Miley Cyrus’ Happy Hippie Foundation. Expect drag queen emcee and lipsync performances. Cocktails provided by Ketel One Vodka and bites.

Drag Brunch at City Tap Dupont June 8 and 9, 2019
Hosted by Ba’Naka and her queens, enjoy a rainbow sprinkled pancake brunch from 11am to 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday (Showtime at 12:30 pm). Later, from 7 pm to 9 pm on Saturday, June 8, join Ba’Naka for drag trivia and $3 rainbow Jell-O shots.

DC Brau’s Pride Pils Honoring Marsha P. Johnson
More than 28,000 cans of DC Brau’s award-winning Brau Pils will hit the region’s shelves in vibrant yellow cans prominently featuring the likeness of LGBTQ activist and Stonewall icon Marsha P. Johnson. More than 100 restaurants, bars and retailers will be selling the specially branded PRIDE PILS cans during DC’s Capital Pride for the third year in a row with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit smyal.org and bladefoundation.org.

Fruitive Pride Flag Bowl
June 7-9 Fruitive serves a special rain-bowl antioxidant bowl for $13.95 made with cashew milk, apple juice, açai, banana, and blueberry base and topped with strawberry, mango, banana, green apple, blueberry and chia seeds. The bowl will be sold at both their Dupont and CCDC locations.
Pride Flower Benches at Hilton Hotels
In collaboration with Exactly, the new creative agency from Brightest Young Things, featuring floral artwork by Holley Simmons of She Loves Me, seven area Hilton properties will “grow” benches to assemble a rainbow in celebration of DC’s LGBTQ+ community.
Over the course of Capital Pride weekend, June 8 and June 9, guests and locals alike are invited to visit select properties to experience special activations in addition to each featured bench. Post a photo of all seven benches on Instagram using #HiltonPride and be automatically entered to win a one-night stay at a NYC Hilton hotel for World Pride the last weekend in June.
Participating Hilton hotels offering unique activations, specialty cocktails, and other fun items in addition to the provided benches onsite include Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Bethesda North, Canopy by Hilton Washington DC The Wharf, where you can enjoy DC Brau Pride Pilsner and their draft Pride Punch, made with Absolut Vodka Pride Edition, Capital Hilton, Conrad Washington DC, The Graham Georgetown, where guests can drink ROYGBIV colored cocktails plus receive a complimentary app with entrée purchase at The Alex for showing a photo of themselves on the bench, Hilton Arlington, and Washington Hilton.
Beauty Kween Brunch Party at Commissary
On Saturday, June 8, join Miss United States, Andromeda Peters, and her fellow contestants. Commissary will turn into a beauty pageant with complimentary tiaras from Day Owl Rosé, glitter cocktails, and Kirsten Dunst’s cult classic film, Drop Dead Gorgeous playing on a loop on their full wall projector.

Three Pride Events at Kimpton Hotels
In celebration of Washington, D.C.’s Pride weekend, Urbana, Radiator, and DNV Rooftop will host parties. All three parties will offer drink specials, brunch fuel, and a welcoming place for everyone.
Radiator’s POP (Pride On the Patio) bottomless brunch party on Saturday, 8 am to 2:30 pm – Close enough for easy “popping in” and “popping out” before and after brunch. DNV Rooftop’s “Gaywatch” hangover pool party on Sunday, noon to 5 pm – Special $15 large-format cocktails like the “Man-gria” and the “Bella-lini” will be served in a beach bucket. Music by DJ Alkimist. No dress code except a bathing suit. $10 entry fee will be charged at the door. Guests who RSVP ahead of time on Eventbrite pay a $5 entry free. Guests who are wearing the wristband from Urbana’s June 8th “Pride + Shine” party will have a waived entry free. Guests must be 21+ to attend.
Marvin Pride with DJ Keenan Orr
Starting at 3pm on Marvin’s Roofdeck on Saturday, June 8, Signature Smirnoff cocktails, Ruby Slippers, and rainbow fans will be provided. A $1 donation from every Smirnoff cocktail sold with go to Casa Ruby.

“One Voice” Exhibition at Kimpton Carlyle Hotel
The exhibition, which will launch in time for Washington’s Capital Pride weekend on Thursday, June 5, will display works from locally based LGBT artists and allies in the hotel’s living room for both hotel guests and passers-by to attend, which serves as a rotating public art gallery space. The public exhibition curated by Julie Ratner and Golie Miamee of Artworx Consultants will include well-known local D.C. area-based artists such as Tom Hill, Maggie O’Neill, Wayson Jones, Rose Jaffe and others in addition to Michael Crossett’s piece “Community” commissioned for Kimpton in partnership with nearby incubator and retailer Shop Made in DC as well as several permanent works by world-renowned mixed media artist Michele Oka Doner.

The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection Stonewall Rise and Pride Package

Republic Restoratives PRIDE Party and Cocktail for Charity
DC’s only women- and LGBTQ-owned distillery helmed by co-founder (and former politico) Pia Carusone – and the distillery – are teaming up with more than 20 restaurants and bars District-wide to feature a specialty cocktail made with Republic Restoratives’ signature CIVIC Vodka and served throughout June. Plus, up to 10% of the profits from each cocktail will be donated directly to Trans Legal Advocates of Washington (TransLAW).
Not The White House PRIDE Party – On Sunday, June 9 from noon to 4 pm at the distillery as they raise a glass to TransLAW and LGBT44, the unofficial network of Obama administration LGBTQ alumni. Dance along to DJ Tezrah and nosh on tasty eats from the gay-owned BBQ Bus. Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite for $20, with 100% of proceeds being donated directly to TransLAW.

Hamilton Hotel invited award-winning actor, singer, producer, director and activist Alan Cumming to curate “The Newsroom: Rise Up,” commissioning him to select artifacts and images that illustrate key moments in the advancement of the LGBTQ movement. Front page news and pivotal cover stories from venerable outlets, music and sports further immerse guests into the breadth and depth of the exhibit.

Milk Bar Gets in on the Pride Action
Here’s a peek at what Milk Bar has on the menu for Pride Month:
Between June 7 – 9, Milk Bar Flagship at Logan Circle will donate a portion of proceeds from all B’Day MilkShakes to The Trevor Project.
Milk Bar Wharf will have a special VIP Dessert Station at Washington Blade’s Pride on the Pier event happening June 8.
