If you were like me you have probably yo-yoed twice now on your diet. All the banana bread, and sourdough starters, I think you know what I am talking about. We got into a better routine and cut out all the bad stuff.
But then with all the external stressors on our lives, and there was nowhere to go, we dipped right back into eating sleeves of store-bought cookies.
We have found redemption, and it is found in the new fall menu at sweetgreen. I have picked out a few of my favorites, you can of course check out the menu yourself here.
AUTUMN CAESAR – roasted brussels sprouts, hot roasted sweet potatoes, tomatoes, shaved parmesan, parmesan crisps, chopped romaine, shredded kale, caesar dressing.
CURRY CAULIFLOWER – blackened chicken, curry roasted cauliflower, shredded cabbage, cilantro, raisins, warm quinoa, arugula, sweetgreen hot sauce, peppercorn tahina dressing
CRISPY RICE BOWL – blackened chicken, raw carrots, shredded cabbage, cucumbers, basil, roasted almonds, crispy rice, warm wild rice, arugula, lime squeeze, spicy cashew dressing
SHROOMAMI – roasted sesame tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, spicy sunflower seeds, warm wild rice, shredded kale, miso sesame ginger dressing
FISH TACO – roasted steelhead, shredded cabbage, cilantro, tortilla chips, warm quinoa, arugula, sweetgreen hot sauce, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette
GUACAMOLE GREENS – roasted chicken, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, shredded cabbage, tortilla chips, spring mix, chopped romaine, lime squeeze, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette
HOT HONEY CHICKEN – whole chicken thigh, hot roasted sweet potatoes, warm quinoa, kale-cabbage slaw, roasted almonds, hot honey mustard sauce
