During his fabulously ornate book signing, he dazzled his fans with a hilarious discourse to living the well-lived life. Remaining true to his style core, he wore a paisley tailored shirt, and a solid tie and jacket, complete with a flower in his pocket.
Doonan confronts all stereotypes and willingly testifies that gay men really are French women; from their delight in fashion, to their brilliant choices in accessories and décor, to their awe-inspiring ability to limit calorie intake.
In his book, Gay Men Don’t Get Fat, Doonan offers his own inimitable life experiences and uncanny insights into makes gay people driven to live every day feeling their best, and proves that they have just as much—and possibly better—wisdom, advice, and inspiration beyond the same old diet and exercise tips.
Simon was escorted by his husband, Johnathan Adler and were welcomed by many VIP Washingtonians. The rooftop ballroom was adored with pink patent leather wing chairs, H.Bloom flowers, skinny margaritas, and even a few drag queens. This event was tastefully successful done with wit and reminders of our waistlines!
