Located in The Yards area of Washington DC, Shilling Canning Company is a modern restaurant that’s anchored in heritage and driven by seasonality and local ingredients and will now offer Sunday brunch.
Since opening in July 2019, the restaurant, which Chef Reid owns and operates with his wife, Sara Quinteros-Shilling (a registered dietitian) has become a popular destination for neighborhood foodies, families and tourists alike.
The menu, which boasts a combination of seafood, meat and vegetarian items, changes daily to reflect the freshest of ingredients from the Chesapeake region.
All dishes are made using the highest quality ingredients sourced directly from over 40 different regional producers. Chef Reid personally works with the farmers, fisherman and other producers to bring the best of the best into the restaurant.
