The Wharf presents The District’s Holiday Boat Parade, a magical night of boating on the Potomac River, from Hains Point to the docks and piers of The Wharf. This is the 27th year of this annual waterfront holiday tradition.
[Hey! On Sunday, December 8, 2019, 2941 Restaurant will host a Decadence Dinner. Order a four-course ($100 or $175 w/ wine pairing), six-course ($150 or $250 w/ wine pairing) or eight-course tasting menu ($200 or $325 w/ wine pairing), which will be available exclusively, from 4-8 pm.]
Free public activities will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, including the lighting of The Wharf’s 40-foot tall Christmas tree, Santa Claus will be there and live music by the GO GO Gadjets will be on stage at District Pier.
The boat parade will kick off at 7:00pm and highlighted by a stunning holiday fireworks parade finale at 8:00pm. The festive holiday boat parade will include up to 60 beautifully decorated boats. Get there early!
6:00–9:00pm — Activities throughout The Wharf – Waterfront Wine & Beer Garden, s’mores, hot chocolate, and music by Go Go Gadjet
7:00pm — Boats arrive in the Washington Channel
8:00pm — Fireworks Salute
