The Meridian Ball is one of the most prestigious annual events in Washington, D.C. On October 25, 2019, now in its 51st year, bringing together members of the public and private sector to celebrate Meridian’s ongoing efforts to prepare leaders for a complex global future.

The Ball was well-attended by public officials including Cabinet secretaries, members of Congress, prominent media figures, foreign ambassadors, and representatives from the international business and cultural communities.
Over 850 guests gathered for dancing, dessert, and conversation at Meridian House. Earlier in the day, all guests are invited to the Meridian Global Leadership Summit at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
This year’s summit was attended by Ambassadors from Germany, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Philippines, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Nepal, Singapore, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, Tunisia, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, Iceland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Estonia, Bulgaria, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan.
