Washington, DC (August 14, 2012) – Protein Bar, the successful Chicago-based nutrition-rich restaurant will open their doors August 22 at 7th and Dst just down the street from Chinatown. This will be one of many openings in Washington, DC. There are plans to open a restaurant in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington, VA.

From customized high-protein blended drinks, bowls, fresh-made chili, soups, salads, and the signature Protein Bar-ritos, this will be made for healthy minded professionals on the go.
Protein Bar uses organic, all-natural, and locally-sourced ingredients and provides a complete list of all nutritional information and ingredients for their entire menu.
Matt Matros, founder of Protein Bar, created the eatery as a place where the right balance of protein, good fat and healthy carbs can be universally accessible and affordable.
Just away from Oyamel, Jaleo, and Hill Country BBQ, Protein Bar will be open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. until 9 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday and 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday. Health-nuts rejoice!
