On Sunday December 16, 2018, Toki Underground will host Common Cru, an interactive gyoza and ramen broth making class focused on tasting and pairing orange/holiday red wines.
You will enjoy a guided tasting of under the radar wines with 2oz pours of three different wines and learn how to make Toki’s dumplings and ramen broth.
Tickets are $55 and include three tastes of the featured wines, as well as the featured dumplings and ramen to enjoy at Toki and take home. Common Cru will teach guests how to pair wine with the dishes created during the class.
Common Cru is a new series created by Danya Degen, a DC-based sommelier working in the front of house at Little Pearl, and Olivier Caillabet, general manager of the H Street ramen shop.
