Direct-to-fan digital sports platform rolls out exclusive live broadcast coverage and VIP events for fans
This June, Monumental Sports Network – the first-ever direct-to-fan digital sports platform – will partner with the Citi Open Tennis Tournament and the 20th Annual Armed Forces Cycling Classic for unparalleled live-stream coverage, subscriber-only VIP events and on-site activations.
On Saturday, June 10, the Network will kick-off a Summer of exclusive live-stream coverage with the broadcast of the 2017 Armed Forces Cycling Classic Clarendon Cup Men and Women’s Pro/Am races. Coverage will commence in the morning and conclude after the awards ceremony. Following the Classic, Monumental Sports Network will team up with the Citi Open Tennis Tournament to provide live broadcast coverage of the Tournament’s returning Wild Card Challenge. From June 17 through June 20, the Wild Card Challenge – held at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center – will once again invite D.C.-metro area players for a chance to win a coveted spot in the Tournament’s qualifying rounds. The Network will stream the Challenge semifinal and final rounds live on June 20, with on-demand viewing of those matches available all summer long.
