Chicago, IL (February 8, 2013) – Hyatt Regency Chicago, the city’s largest hotel, is finally set to unveil the $168 million renovation that has enhanced the entire property. A new lobby, guest rooms, meeting spaces and 6 dining experiences will make their debut April 2013.

Architects and designers at Bentel & Bentel, provided the renovation in a three-phase project starting in 2010. Now almost finished with Phase III, the project will conclude in their east tower lobby space, as well as all of the meeting and event space, and dining outlets.
In the large new lobby, guests will find high-tech features upon their arrival including iPad check-in services, check-in pods and kiosks, as well as high-speed Internet and an array of other tech-savvy features.
Ideally situated near the Magnificent Mile, the AAA Four Diamond downtown Chicago luxury hotel offers amenities such as spa and workout facilities, on-site Hertz Car Rental, laundry and dry cleaning services, currency exchange, high-speed Internet, 24-hour in-room dining, and airline boarding pass printing services.
The property will now boast over 228,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including four ballrooms, 63 meeting rooms and the 70,000 square foot Riverside Exhibition Center.
Stetsons Modern Steak + Sushi, American Craft Kitchen & Bar, Market Chicago, and BIG Bar will join the dining portfolio. The Hyatt Regency Chicago is located at 151 East Wacker Drive in the heart of downtown.
