As part of its ongoing transformation into an independent, modern luxury hotel, Hamilton Hotel Washington, D.C. partnered with Ashley Blazer Biden to design new uniforms for its associates.

These fashion-forward yet functional, Made-In-America uniforms marry Biden’s passion for social good with her eye for fashion and represent an extension of the Livelihood apparel line she launched in 2017.
Hamilton associates will debut the Biden-designed looks in spring 2019, alongside a host of other refurbishments, including a re-designed lobby, the new Italian Osteria, Via Sophia and micro-luxe, craft cocktail bar, Society.
The collection complements the essence of the hotel’s redesign that commingles Hamilton’s original ornate Beaux-Arts architectural style with modern luxury and comfort.
“We’re fortunate to be collaborating with Ashley Biden, who brings not only a sense of fashion and flair to our hotel, but the important value of public service that is in her DNA and engrained in our nation’s capital,” said Mark Driscoll, Managing Director at Hamilton Hotel Washington, D.C. “Hamilton is thrilled to debut her uniform designs, which perfectly complement our new look and feel of modern luxury and comfort, and we’re so proud to spotlight her Livelihood brand.”
You can also experience Biden’s fashion influences, and contribute to the underserved communities supported by Livelihood, through a new unisex bathrobe offered in the hotel’s 17 suites.
Debuting in summer of 2019, the robes will replicate the look and feel of Biden’s trademark Livelihood hoodies using a cozy material, chic hoods and Livelihood’s trademark logo. A portion of proceeds benefitting Livelihood.
Originally designed by the renowned French-born architect Jules-Henrí de Sibour in 1922, Hamilton Hotel Washington, DC is an iconic 318-room art deco property at 14th and K Streets.
