Chef Russell Smith, one of this year’s ‘RAMMY awards Rising Star’ nominees, has just launched a new family-style lamb dinner at the Source by Wolfgang Puck.

The all-inclusive, shareable dinner is designed to feed two people and starts off with a Scallion Flower Roll amuse, followed by a platter of Soy Lacquered Lamb Shank served with a cilantro mint vinaigrette, Lamb Sausage and Spring Pea Fried Rice, and a vegetable side of Sweet and Sour Eggplant.

Dessert is a house-made Shaoxing Ice Cream served with fresh strawberries and mint. You choose one selection of a house wine: either a glass of Wolfgang Puck Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon or a 3 Stars Peppercorn Saison or Atlas “District Commons” Lager – the latter is a draft option, which will rotate. Non-alcoholic beverage options are also available.

The entire menu, which includes food, wine, tax and gratuity for two people is priced at $100.

The Source by Wolfgang Puck. 575 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20565. (202) 637-6100.

*Shaoxing is a rice wine popular in Chinese cuisine, which adds a nutty, almost savory undertone to the dessert.
