We recently enjoyed catching the My Fair Lady at Broadway at the National. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The entire cast brought their A-game, delivering an enchanting and captivating performance. Among the standout talents, Michael Hegarty and John Adkison were truly exceptional.

Michael Hegarty portrayed the lovable rogue Alfred P. Doolittle as an absolute triumph. His comedic timing, charisma, and stage presence were simply outstanding.

He had the audience in stitches with his witty one-liners and flawless delivery. Hegarty’s portrayal of Mr. Doolittle perfectly balanced humor and heart. His performance was a highlight of the show, and his energy and enthusiasm were infectious.

Similarly, John Adkison’s performance was a true gem. Adkison portrayed Colonel Pickering with humor and nuance.

But it wasn’t just Hegarty and Adkison who shone in this production – the entire cast was filled with incredible talent. The ensemble was dynamic, showcasing exceptional singing and dancing skills – again, brace yourself for “Get Me to the Church On Time” with Hegarty.

The production was a perfect blend of humor, (just a little) romance, and drama.

I also must mention the stunning costumes and the seamless scene transitions. The attention to detail was impeccable, creating a visually stunning and immersive experience that transported the audience to the world of My Fair Lady.

My Fair Lady on Tour was a true theatrical delight. The talented cast, including Michael Hegarty and John Adkison, brought their A-game, delivering outstanding performances. I highly recommend catching this production if possible – it’s a theatrical experience you won’t want to miss!
