Potomac Paddle Club is one of the best ways to enjoy the Washington DC skyline and majestic monuments. There is a reason to still get out there to enjoy the water even in the fall months.
10 comfortable bike seats are mounted up to a long bar for you and your friends to enjoy your own drinks and snacks. Yes! You can use your own energy to pedal the paddle, but there is a built-in motor on board to help out or take over throughout the trip, so don’t worry if you don’t feel like a workout.
The tours are 90 minutes long and you will get to see the Watergate Hotel, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial. There is a quick break at the Columbia Island Marina which looks upon the Pentagon building.
This is a group activity and usually sells out pretty quickly. There are special rates for groups up to eight, up to 10, and for the entire paddle boat up to 12 people.
Their detailed website explains all your questions and is neatly organized. Their maps even help you find parking.
