Designer Trees Return to the Four Seasons Washington, DC – Sunday December 16, 2018

The second annual, “Light Up The Season” event—a family-friendly, holiday community fundraiser benefiting Children’s National Health System – took place on Sunday December 16, 2018 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC.

[Hey! On Sunday, December 8, 2019, 2941 Restaurant will host a Decadence Dinner. Order a four-course ($100 or $175 w/ wine pairing), six-course ($150 or $250 w/ wine pairing) or eight-course tasting menu ($200 or $325 w/ wine pairing), which will be available exclusively, from 4-8 pm.]

This event of the season featured top area designers who were paired with Children’s National patients in designing festive holiday trees, mantelpieces, wreaths, menorahs and artwork—all of which will be on display and available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting Children’s National.

Activities for all ages included cookie decorating, ornament making, a visit from Santa and Children’s National Dr. Bear mascot, musical performances and youth entertainers, pop-up shops, a silent auction and local fare and libations. April McClain-Delaney, regulatory attorney and Washington Director of Common Sense Media, served as this year’s Light Up The Season Honorary Chair.
