For the MLB All-Star Week (Friday July 13 – Tuesday, July 17, 2018), Declaration Nats Park will offer a special line-up of foot-long hot dogs themed after five major baseball cities including DC, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and St. Louis.

The menu comes from Executive Chef Demetrio Zavala who drew inspiration from the cities when finalizing the menu. Cities like New York and Chicago were more straightforward with Chef Zavala putting his own twist on them, whereas DC and LA required a little “out of left field” creativity.

Footlong City-Style Dogs ($8)
NY Dog
Beef chili, cheese whiz, mustard, diced onion

Chicago Dog
Poppy seed bun, electric relish, onion, sliced tomato, hot peppers

St Louis Dog
BBQ dog, smoked tomato ketchup, coleslaw, fried onions

DC Dog
Maryland crab corn dog, remoulade sauce, old bay mustard

LA Dirt Dog
Dog wrapped in bacon, guacamole, cilantro, lime, green chili

While there, try the “The Midsummer Classic” ($12) made with Plantation 5 Star Rum, Pimms No. 1, Fresh Lime Juice, and Cheerwine soft drink. The cocktail can be described as a cold crisp adult Dr. Pepper.

Declaration Nats Park is excited to host guests during the All-Star week and will be open Monday – Friday at 11:30am and weekends at 11:00am, with happy hour (3:00pm – 7:00pm) at the bar and on the patio.
