Creative Congregation at the Corcoran

Labeled as the new Fall Fete, the Now at Night event at the Corcoran celebrated with special guest Chris Martin, Honorary Chair of the Host Committee, with fellow contemporary art lovers and philanthropists, like Philipa Hughes and Septime Webre.

Patrons in cocktail attire explored the museum and got a first look at commissioned piece Bluebrain, inspired by Spencer Finch’s Passing Cloud. Finch’s exhibition at the Corcoran takes up the subject of clouds. Drawing from the history and environment of Washington, D.C., his project explores the poetic, physical, and meteorological aspects of these natural phenomena.

I encourage you to continue your support to this museum. The next time you visit this museum, know that great minds, like yours, can inspire great art and continue Washington to be a source for the global creative community.
