City Winery DC has created a cuisine that borrows from Mediterranean history – Italian, French, Spanish and Middle-Eastern cultures who have been pairing simple and wholesome food with wine for centuries.
With this in mind, their culinary team has created large plates to pair with their great wine. Our award-winning wine list has over 800 unique producers from around the world, in addition to the more than 20 in-house produced wines sourced from vineyards in California, Oregon, Washington, Argentina and Chile.
The restaurant portion of City Winery, Barrel Room is lead by Executive Chef Brandon Ingenito.
Chef Brandon graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. At the age of 21, Brandon had landed his first Chef De Cuisine position at Kemble Park Tavern in Georgetown, DC. Brandon’s next venture took place at the Central Intelligence Agency’s fine dining room, in which he played an important role in preparing food for foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, politicians and even presidents.
Dinner is served Monday–Saturday from 2:00 pm–12:00 am.
Brunch is served on weekends from 1 pm – 4 pm.
