This Cinco de Mayo, El Rey is ringing in the holiday with a few of your favorite things: margaritas, mariachi … and an ice luge.
DC.’s favorite taco spot is offering tons of Cinco fun, from a Cointreau-exclusive house margs menu to a live mariachi band to the $4 Carnitas Taco del Dia (marinated and braised pulled pork, chopped Spanish onion, tomatillo-avocado salsa, pickled jalapeno and cilantro).
El Rey’s beloved full menu of a half dozen of the city’s most mouthwatering tacos — al pastor, carne asada, thai shrimp, de pescado, queso con hongos and adobo chicken — will also be up for grabs, as well as plenty of other signature plates and sides, such as tamales, nachos, elote, chips & guac and more.
